Going for the Gold!

Bonjour!!!
I am so excited that team Canada now has 12 gold medals!! All I have been focusing on lately is the Olympics!!I have been glued to the tv. But thankfully I am a multi-tasker and have been drawing WHILE watching tv! This is my attempt to feel productive...Don't yah love the gold shoes?!!?
But I don't feel too bad because I am sending Team Canada lots of good vibes!!

Day Dreaming

Hey everyone!

I managed to sneak in a drawing session in between all my working and studying! Pretty busy times right now! And Toronto also just got totally dumped in snow!! And here I was thinking that spring was coming!!

Speaking of spring, the new Dean Davidson collection should be hitting Holt Renfrew within the first couple of weeks of March!! woohooo!! So this picture was drawn during my day dreaming of all the new jewellery designs to come in the future!

Christmas time for the fashion industry!

Anyone who works in the fashion industry knows that this is the time when samples for the new collection arrive to be sent to press and buyers. Opening the box of samples is like christmas time, when you get to see the pieces you have been designing for weeks and week come to life. Seeing the final piece is the reward!

It had always been a dream of mine to draw up designs and have them become a reality. Today that dream came true!

I cannot wait to show you these pieces! Dean and I were at the photographers today getting all the product shots for the catalogue before we shipped the pieces off to NY. I will posts pictures as soon as I can!

I will be at Holt Renfew again this Saturday, so feel free to stop by and pick up some Dean Davidson jewellery!!

Sorry for the delay in posts! I've been crazy busy with school, family and celebrations. Charmayne is now back in Aussieland once again so here are some pictures of us during her stay.
