Shopping at People

Well there's nothing like a little retail therapy to make you feel better... evan if you're feeling good... you can always feel better, so today my shooping ventuee stopped at a relatively new store in my local 'hood' called PEOPLE.

'PEOPLE' carries a massive range of brands from your surf shop styles of 'Billabong' and 'Tiger lilly' to your fashion favorites like 'Levis', 'Mink Pink' and 'Stussy', finally your rare finds like 'toi et moi' and 'the casette society'... a list of brands is available on their website which is definitely worth a look. http://www.thempeople.com.au/

The feel of the store is great, vintage stadium seats for try-on chairs, fridges for sunglass displays and a generally creative visual merchandising display. It's a one-stop shop with everything you could need day to night, casual to work, clothing to accessories. Each item has somthing different about it that doesn't leave you wearing that 'branded' feeling!!!

At the moment the store is a one-of-a-kind and only in Sunbury. It definitely has the potential to expand but for the moment it's my lucky find and will have my on-going purchasing power!!!

As for my purcahses. As you know it's getting cold 'down-under' here and although it's nothing like the cool in Canada, we like to support our winter folk 'in the fashion sense'. And so, I've jumped on the 'jegging' trend, my find are quite unique, a grey denim look, cropped length with buckle detail. Remember people jegging or leggings do not show your butt!!! A top should always cover it, number 1 rule if you choose to go with this trend!!! My next find was a velour floral printed dress with a full-length zip down the front, great for work to drink type days!!! I picked up a few other things too!!!

Beautiful Arizona

Hello!!!
I just got home from beautiful Arizona!!It was a last minute trip and it was much more than I had ever expected! So much beauty and so much to do! To start, I didn't know that there was so many mountains, and snow!! And the cacti and dessert plants were amazing! The valley (Phoenix area) is where it is hot hot hot, and then mountains surrounding the valley offer amazing views and an incredible out doors life. And the great thing about AZ is that it is only a hour drive to Vegas, Mexico, LA, and Colorado. Talk about being in the hub of all the action!

My Sister and I by a giant cactus!

Can't wait to go back!
xoxo
